Fundraising in Finland has always been strictly controlled by the government. Mainly NGOs with a fundraising permit have been able to arrange money collecting. Now individuals can also raise funds from the public to help people in need. It offers more opportunities for utilizing digitalization for marketing the cause, fundraising and follow-up marketing, so that donors can see how the money is being spent.
With a new fundraising act that came into force in March 2020, we are able to help those in need.
How can We Encourage help you to build your own cause?
We Encourage helps small scale fundraisers with
- ideating the cause,
- estimate the fundraising amount for the cause
- fill in the necessary announcement to the police
- plan the fundraising marketing campaign and marketing the cause
- help with follow-up, how and where the money is being spent.
If you are interested and would like to help, you can apply to become a pilot tester.

Varainhankinta Suomessa on aina ollut tiukasti säädeltyä ja pääasiassa mahdollista vain järjestöille, joilla on rahankeräyslupa. Nyt myös yksilöt voivat kerätä varoja avun tarpeessa olevien ihmisten auttamiseksi. Tämä lisää mahdollisuuksia digitalisaation hyödyntämiseen markkinoinnissa, rahan keräämisessä, ja jälkimarkkinoinnissa jotta lahjoittajat voivat seurata miten heidän lahjoituksensa on käytetty.
Maaliskuussa 2020 voimaan tulleen uuden rahankeräyslain mahdollistaman pienkeräyksen avulla pystymme auttamaan apua tarvitsevia. We Encourage auttaa pienkeräyksen järjestäjiä mm.
- pienkeräyskohteen ideoinnissa,
- arvioimaan rahankeräyksen tarpeen
- pienkeräysilmoituksen tekemisessä poliisille
- suunnittelemaan keräyskohteen markkinointikampanja ja keräyksen markkinoinnissa
- autamme follow-upissa, jotta lahjoittajat tietävät miten ja mihin rahat käytetään.
